SiMAP EasyControl©

The quickest and easier way to switch to metered heating!

SiMAP EasyControl©

The heating in buildings is usually regulated according to the outdoor temperature. The colder it is outside, the hotter the water circulating in the system. This method ensures that the radiators are warmer in the winter than in the summer, but it completely overlooks the indoor temperature.

SiMAP EasyControl© constantly measures the building’s average indoor temperature and adjusts the heating accordingly. If it is too cool indoors, the water in the heating circuit is heated up, and vice-versa. This gives rise to much more stable indoor conditions.

In addition to improving comfort, controlling the heating based on the indoor temperature can save a significant amount of energy. The heating system is not the only source of heat inside a building: the sun, residents’ electrical devices, and the people themselves also heat up rooms. All these factors vary over time; if it is cloudy, the sun does not shine through the windows, and people rarely cook in the early hours of the morning.

SiMAP EasyControl notices all additional heat sources, so there is no need for overheating. Furthermore, when the indoor temperature remains steady, it is often possible to reduce the temperature by half a degree or so because buildings are usually kept too warm for healthy living due to the limitations of the conventional control method. The solution is very simple and easy to install, and it complements a wide range of building automation systems. The solution’s payback period is typically very short.
